 Jump Start to Employment 
January - March 2008
A NEW program for individuals on BC Benefits that need additional assistance through enhanced workshops and training.
The program begins in January with individuals being assessed regarding their needs from the program and whether or not the program could meet those needs. Fifteen selected individuals will proceed with:
- three weeks of living and employability skills;
- four weeks of specific skills upgrading and certificated skills in the retail and customer service area:
- SuperHost
- Personality Dimensions
- Food Safe
- Serving It Right
- First Aid level I
- Cashier Training
- Mixology
- Food Service Techniques
- Dealing with Difficult Clients
Interested individuals meeting the criteria of being on BC Benefits, should make an appointment to see their Ministry Worker.
