An exciting and UNIQUE partnership between two regional training organizations on the North Coast began in 2008.  St. John Ambulance and Hecate Strait Employment Development Society (a/k/a Hecate Strait Training Centre) are joining together to provide quality first aid training to the residents and employment groups of the area!  "What a dynamic team!” states Kathy Bedard, Executive Director of Hecate Strait Training Centre.  "Our two organizations will provide administration and first aid training delivery in the best possible way through this partnership."   St. John Ambulance Branch Manager, Janet Mackenzie, also expressed enthusiasm regarding this innovative partnership by stating, "This is a perfect opportunity to offer the community a one stop shop for training.  Hecate Strait and St. John Ambulance can offer a combination of exemplary customer service and the highest quality training standards in the industry.”   Through this partnership, individuals and companies will be able to access all the services of the two organizations through the Hecate Strait Facility, with a majority of the First Aid Courses offered at a new SJA site.
