♦CONSTRUCTION SAFETY TRAINING

In partnership with the BC Construction Association (North) we provide the Construction Safety Training modules on-line.

One of the required courses in the STAR COR Program is the WORKER Course (CSTS).

This course is an interactive, computer-based training program, which focuses on hazard awareness and preventative actions. Workers watch videos of actual construction sites

and potential hazards and are guided through proper approaches to each situation. It would be a self-paced, user friendly, and an excellent introduction to safety in the construction industry.

In partnership with the Workers’ Compensation Board of British Columbia (WCB) and the Northern British Columbia Construction Association, CSABC offers this worker safety course. The course is designed to help workers avoid painful and costly injuries, and will also acquire training that can improve future job prospects. It’s a great safety training course for an employer to provide his or her employees. It helps both experienced workers and newly graduated students to reinsure safety policies and awareness.
