NORTH COAST AND HAIDA GWAII

Hecate Strait Employment Development is proud to be a partner with ASPECT in the delivery of this Pilot Project.  We will work with small business owners on the North Coast and on Haida Gwaii/QCIslands, to assist them in improving their employees skills and abilities.

The project will work with employers to assist in identifying the appropriate skills required by their staff and then assist in the brokering of the training.  The trainig can include distance learning, correspondence or on-line, and in-class access.

The project coordinator will work with the employee to ensure that there is follow-up and completion, as well as mentorship and encouragement for success.
